Course 119 - Angelic Conflict (Part 2) Lesson 2

In (Romans 12:1-2), God’s compassion for us motivates our sacrificial service for Him. We grow into this sacrificial mindset through transformation, which is the renovation of our thoughts. God empowers us to exchange our old beliefs for His new beliefs which change us into be like Jesus.

In (2 Corinthians 3), Paul discusses God’s power in the New Covenant and the freedom we have been given to use His power. Paul’s ministry had been rejected by many in the Corinthian church. He was forced to be very tough in his first letter and remind them of his credentials as an Apostle. He now explains to them that he needs no earthly recommendations because his ministry and theirs operate by God’s power in the lives of transformed believers.
