Course 124 - Details of Life (Part 1) Lesson 3

“I said to myself, ‘Come now, I will test you with pleasure”. (Eccl.2:1) The Hebrew word for pleasure is simechah. Simechah is an emotional expression of some visible or external matter that causes extreme happiness in your life. It could be good or bad depending on its source.

This Hebrew word was used when David returned from his victory over Goliath and the women of Israel came out to celebrate.
