All who study the Book of Ecclesiastes remark that it is unlike any other Old Testament book. They say that it has no parallel in any other book of the wisdom literature.
The Book of Ecclesiastes is often misunderstood because it speaks of the things of the world and uses reverse logic to make its points. “Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind” (Eccl.2:11).
