Course 119 - Angelic Conflict (Part 2) Lesson 3

This lesson will study FIVE aspects of the evil spirit that fell upon King Saul.

“Now the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord terrorized him. [to fall upon, to startle, to terrify]” (1 Sam.16:14).

“Let no man say when he is tempted, ‘I am being tempted by God’; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone” (James 1:13).

Some may ask then, "how do you explain this phrase, an evil spirit from the Lord?” (1 Sam.16:23; 18:10-12; 19:9-11)
